Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
-
Typically, we recommend a vehicle wrap to stay on no longer than 3-5 years for the best results, anything longer than this may result in fading and a more tedious removal process. Different wrap material will also play a role in the longevity and removal.
-
A vehicle wrap may serve several purposes, one would be for commercial or business ventures, doing a full or partial custom wrap to advertise your company. Another would be for restyling purposes, making your vehicle stand out from the rest with our professional installers, offering full wraps in gloss, matte, satin, and even chrome! Depending on the condition of the paint when the wrap is put on, and how long it was on for, these will be the main factors for removal. As long as there is no clear coat chipping and no visible rust spots, our professional installers will be able to remove the old wrap seamlessly without causing any damage to the paint beneath. However, the removal process can also differ depending on which wrap material was initially used and also how long the wrap had been on.
-
We recommend to only have the vehicle hand washed once it has been wrapped, this will keep it looking its best and minimize scratching of the material. Drive thru car washes can be very abrasive and decrease the longevity of the wrap. Pressure washes can be used to wash the vehicle, but should try to avoid direct contact with the edges.
-
Post installation, it is typically recommended not to wash the vehicle for about one week while the film is still curing. Rainfall is completely fine, but direct pressure from a hose to the edges may cause lifting if hit directly in the curing process.
